At 525 E. Michigan Avenue, The Space was an energetically run coffee shop and venue for obscure, alternative, and inventive musical acts. It was open from September 2001 to February 2003. Formerly the site of a Firestone tire dealer and a sign store, the site is now home to Incenter Hemodialysis.
