KALAMAZOO COLLEGE
Since its founding in 1833, K College has been reshaped several times over; the current campus is a post-1930s version including many buildings from the 1960s.  Here are a few forgotten visions from the recent past.  Treadway gym (right) was torn down in 1980. Shale House (below) at the corner of Michigan Ave. and Acker next to the tennis courts is currently a parking lot.  The famed Catherine Street apartment building (lower right) was cleared for the indoor tennis courts in the early 80s.
