BUYTENDORP BARBER SHOP
John Buytendorp ran this barber shop for many years at 1207 North
Westnedge Avenue. This picture shows two of the Buytendorp boys with
a Navy
friend in 1942, when haircuts were 35 cents. The building was torn
down in the 1980s and is now a paved church parking lot.
